An integral part of the design process is not only learning about the customer's needs, but also encouraging them to take a new look at their brand. This is a necessary step to set directions and ways to communicate with future buyers of services and products. With the project for SUAVA, this was a very natural process, as we were dealing with very conscious owners. In the course of the work there was a change in the name of the brand, which perfectly reflected the idea of the brand and naturally fit into our design guidelines.
In keeping with how the owners of the SUAVA brand wanted to be perceived by their customers, we opted for simplicity and minimalism in the selection of the logo and accompanying visual identity system. We chose a clear, light and simple typeface that blended perfectly especially in the photographs with the clothes presented by the models. The fabrics used most often in SUAVA's clothes became the inspiration for the individual color palette that we operated in our graphic designs.
Logo design, selection of colors and fonts, development of typography using simple geometric figures (circle, square, oval) were just the beginning of our design adventure for SUAVA. We created a brand book that covered not only designs for print (business cards, labels, tags, hang tags, postcards, packaging), but also a package of materials for online communication (including graphics for social media). In addition, we provided advice and care in matters already very detailed, such as paper selection. We suggested paper with the right texture, which subconsciously evoked associations with the softness and naturalness of SUAVA products.
The final element of the entire design process was the creation of the website layout. The functional and visual solutions we developed, worked well in communicating with customers. We briefed the entire shopping process in delicate, minimalist graphic forms that corresponded with the simple elegance of product photography. The resulting website was aesthetically pleasing, minimalist, intuitive, bright, elegant, but not bloated, sunny and artistic - exactly what SUAVA brand owners dreamed of.
